Alcove Medical, Inc. ("Alcove Medical," "we," "us") supplies clinical-grade atomization devices exclusively to verified healthcare institutions and providers. Because our products are single-patient-use medical devices, our return policy reflects health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
1. Return Eligibility
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, provided that:
- The product is unopened, unused, and in its original sealed packaging;
- The packaging seal and any sterility barrier are intact; and
- A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number has been issued by our team prior to return shipment.
For health and safety reasons, devices with opened or compromised packaging cannot be returned or restocked under any circumstances, in accordance with standard practice for single-patient-use medical devices.
2. How to Initiate a Return
Contact our team at orders@alcovemedical.com or 480-900-1657 with your order number, the items and quantities you wish to return, and the reason for the return. If the return is eligible, we will issue an RMA number and return instructions. Returns received without an RMA number may be refused.
3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Shipments
Please inspect all shipments upon receipt. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or does not match your purchase order, notify us within 5 business days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full credit at no cost to your facility, including return shipping where required. Claims reported after this window may be handled at our discretion.
4. Restocking Fee and Return Shipping
- Returns due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect items) incur no fees.
- All other eligible returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and return shipping is the responsibility of the purchasing facility.
- We recommend using a trackable, insured shipping method; we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
5. Refund Processing
Once a return is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 10 business days:
- Prepaid orders are refunded to the original payment method.
- Orders placed on institutional terms (e.g., Net 30) are credited against the open invoice or issued as an account credit.
6. Evaluation Samples
Evaluation units provided through our clinical evaluation program are governed by the terms of that program and are not subject to this return policy unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Non-Returnable Items
- Any device with opened, unsealed, or damaged packaging
- Items marked as final sale, clearance, or short-dated at time of purchase
- Custom or special-order configurations
